Kinsō

A monolithic body: the G-Class side protection strips are laser-cut from the bodywork and each panel is closed seamlessly by hand. Three-tone satin composition - Aizome Blue, Kinari Crème, Silk Gold - applied to absorb light rather than reflect it. Bespoke HOF bodyparts in high-grade carbon, available painted or with the carbon weave left visible. 24″ HOF Disc Wheels in white, ringed in Silk Gold.

Coach Doors are one of HOF's signature gestures, reserved for compositions where the cabin asks to be entered, not stepped into. Each pair is integrated into the body with HOF's atelier discipline - crash performance, structural integrity and long-term durability held to factory standards. Two atmospheres held in a single body: Kinari Crème at the front, Aizome Blue in the rear. Individual rear seats with a centre console replace the bench, giving each passenger their own private place. Botanical jacquard inserts on seats, door panels and headliner, drawn from the Nishijin-ori tradition. Vegetable-tanned leather selected for patina. Hand-placed botanical embroidery, visible only on close inspection.

At the heart of Kinsō sits a botanical jacquard inspired by Japan's Nishijin-ori tradition - woven, not printed, on hand-pulled looms. The fabric is itself a composition: dozens of distinct botanical scenes from Edo-period illustration, assembled into a tessellated geometry, the panels meeting at fine lines of Silk Gold. Aizome Blue from fermented indigo. Kinari Crème from raw, unbleached silk. Silk Gold woven, embroidered, ringed.

Every Kinsō is completed by hand at Atelier HOF in Sindelfingen. The recurring H-pattern runs across leather, textile and metal. At the steering wheel and along the centre tunnel, three materials meet within centimetres of each other: botanical jacquard, hand-stitched leather and the H-pattern embossed and woven into both.
