The Journey
A season is not a place. It travels.
Kinsō — the opening composition of Spring Summer 2027, Japan × Paris — was revealed at Fuori Concorso Kraftmeister on Lake Como in May. It was shown in the Orangery at Goodwood in July, alongside the Abu Dhabi Investment Office. And it closed its European chapter at Autowelt Schweiz in Zurich.
Now the composition crosses. Its first appearance on US soil is at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering— the invitation-only field on the Peninsula during Monterey Car Week, through 16 August. From there the tour continues: Los Angeles on 18–19 August, Miami from 21 August, Atlanta from 26 August. The first US dealer partners will be announced in the weeks that follow.
The Room
The closest thing the automobile has to a fashion show.
The Quail is the day of Monterey Car Week when the room slows down. Invitation only, the size of a small salon rather than a stadium — collectors, curators, marques and the specialists who read them. It is the audience that treats a car the way a maison treats a season.
HOF arrives on that field for the first time. Kinsō — Aizome Blue, Silk Gold, coach doors that open like a kimono — sits on the Peninsula, read by the room it was made for.
The American Room
A market that lives Car Couture like no other.
Car Culture in the United States is a lived practice, not a spectator sport. From the Peninsula in August to the collector garages of Miami and the West Coast houses of Los Angeles, the country reads the automobile at a pace no other market keeps.
Car Couturefinds an audience here that is already fluent — the collector who chooses the shoe, the watch and the coat with the same eye that reads the paint, the trim and the thread. The room America built for the automobile is the room HOF was made to enter.
